The sisters or: the father's call or: as they searched in darkness

the sisters
or: the father's call
or: as they searched in darkness
our sisters
travelled down the seas
to darkness and to death
they dwindled down there.
down to death
they dwindled down there,
far away ...
in the oceans of time.
our sisters are gone
their shadows were long ago lost,
so long ago it is,
they used to play with sea anemones
before they travelled down the time ...
they 'd heard the stories
of our fathers
they 'd heard their secret call
their summons
to call them down,
to mermaids and to fish.
and they too, felt the longing in their hearts,
to follow our fathers.
to find them and to rescue them ...
the fathers had made their call,
and the sisters so had heard them,
had heard their call and listened ...
and so decided then to go.
our sisters travelled down the sea
to look for our fathers,
they travelled down in darkness then
to seek the fish they 'd heard of.
not counting on the weight of time ...
in darkness they arrived,
to mermaids and to fish,
but did not see the other ones,
for dark it really was ...
they looked for light,
they prayed for love,
to find those whom they seeked,
and wandered on be lighter fields
with anemones and weeds ...
they played
with anemones and fish,
not thinking of their fathers,
they played with sunshine and with weeds
not listening to the warning
that once was set by our fathers.
they played and lost their souls
and did not find the fathers
so they just wandered off astray
betrayed by heart and soul,
to island dessert like ...
they lived - and did not live,
betrayed by heart and soul
and so,
in total desperation,
they flung themselves to death,
down from a cliff
on dessert island,
as though they did not want to live,
they flung themselves to water-death
by drowning in the sea;
so they were happy, "now we 're dead"
- and wandered off as fish,
to try and seek their fathers ...
but though they travelled down the sea,
they did not think of time.
the time they 'd travelled down the sea,
the oceans of the time.
so when they travelled down the sea,
they travelled down the time,
till all of it was spend,
and nothing now was left,
till all their lives were utterly
consumed by time itself.
and there was nothing left to do,
but still to smile and die;
and so they died and wandered off
as fish to merfolk 's ground,
to seek and find their fathers ...
but alas
time had worked sufficient ...
they did not find their fathers
- for long ago the 'd died
with merfolk still as fish,
they were not found
they were not saved
their call was unheard still,
the sister 's work was still not done ...
so alas,
those died down at sea
for nothing on purpose.
they could not find the fathers now,
they could not help them anymore,
just wandered on alone,
betrayed by heart and soul;
until the death released them still
not knowing whom they seeked,
for they had died purposefully
for nobody 's profit ...
so de not follow any call,
so do not travel down the time.
for nothing good will come;
you 'll only die for nobody
or end your life as fish;
so do not seek the sea of time
for it can be just cruel ...
for alas!
the sisters died purposefully
for nobody's profit,
(and neither for their own)....
