Look out the window, snow fällt wunderboar
and the air is pure und kloar -
Also, all the people happy sind.
Everybody knows: Soon comes the Christuskind.
Because snow and ice is auf da Stroßn
und der Punsch is eingegoßn.
It's Advent, it’s Weihnachtszeit
and all the people san bereit!

Every park-house is längst voll!
'S Einkaufn is jo jetzt so toll.
De Leut’ are runnig bereits
in all the Gschäfta. Was soll der Geiz?
Sie kaufn sinnlos irgendwelche things
while the bells of Christmas rings.
Mutter in the kitchen bakes
für Weihnocht'n a Menge Keks.

Da Papa is in the Nebenraum
und kämpft geduldig mit'n Weihnachtsbaum.
Endlich! Die Kinderlein
dürfen jetzt auch ins Zimmer rein.
And now all are singing in the family
terribly wrong: "Oh, Chistmastree!"
All! Great and small, in the house
pock'n jetzt Geschenke aus.

Everyone's doin' in his heart frohlock'n
and must now in front of the Christbam hock'n.
A pastor predigt für die Leit'
inside everywhere today is Seligkeit.
Nun die Mutter schnell zum Of'n rennt,
damit net noch die Gans anbrennt.
Listen to the Liada and look at the lights!
Merry Christmas all around und allerseits.
